Sheilagh Durkin is an Acupuncturist, Energy Worker, Herbalist, and Reiki Master with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. In addition to apprenticing with many gifted healers and teachers, she has formally studied post-traumatic stress phenomena, the Toltec Path to Freedom, alchemical healing, medical intuition, multidimensional energy work, flower essences and other forms of vibrational healing. She is also a wife and a mother committed to living consciously and co-creativley with all aspects of her life.

She draws on her extensive training and intuition to “listen” to the body and find the root cause of the issue. The result is an integration of ancient wisdom with modern medical research, creating a healthcare model that honors the innate wisdom of the body and the path of the Soul while effectively treating pain syndromes and disease processes. She has helped many to heal while discovering the wisdom “hidden” within a health issue.

Sheilagh specializes in the treatment of the bio-energetic, physiological, and emotional effects of chronic stress, chronic pain, and trauma. Through acupuncture and energy work she accesses the life force, gently guiding and restoring balance and resiliency to the body. With your permission and cooperation, she releases old patterns held in the body that limit the flow of life force and healing potential. When the body’s physical and energetic systems are balanced, symptoms resolve. Her passion is discovering the wisdom of the body and working co-creatively to find sustainable solutions to health issues that optimize the relationship of spirit and nature, body and soul.
